How to play Angry Shark Online

Controls

On mobile (MOBILE)

• ↑: Move up / Jump
• ↓: Dive deep
• ← / →: Move left/right
• "BITE" button: Bite—main action

Shark mechanics

• Dive deep, then swim up quickly to perform a super jump: This is how you destroy boats, eat people or attack in the air.
• Jump on land or floating objects to destroy them: Attack boats, rafts, drones, or flying vehicles passing through your water area.
• Attack and bite to eat people, fish, or other easily digestible targets: Eat to restore your health bar (shown on the top right corner of the screen, under the word “SHARK BLOOD”).
• Avoid mines and any objects that have a red icon featuring a black “X.” Hitting them will cause you to lose health quickly.

Tips and Tricks

Dive deep for the best momentum

The deeper you dive, the stronger your bounce will be. Use this method to:

• Attack large ships.
• Hit planes
• Catch people on the shore from a distance.

Tip: Press ↓ and hold for a moment, then press ↑ quickly to create a powerful bounce.

Prioritize targets that heal

When your health bar is low, prioritize attacking people or small fish, avoiding large ships or mines.

Tip: Fish, swimmers, and small creatures do not fight back and help you recover health quickly.

Distinguish between mines and targets

Some objects look like decoys but are actually booby traps. Signs:

• Bright red flashing light
• Red circle icon + black X

Tip: Stay away and aim for easy targets instead.

Master the plane-pulling skill

When you see a low-flying plane flying by:

• Dive deep—jump up—press BITE in the air.
• If the timing is right, the shark will pull the whole plane into the water.

Tip: This is a nice combo that causes mass destruction if the plane is near many people.

Combine horizontal movement and attack

Don't just jump vertically! Moving left/right while jumping will help:

• Hit more targets.
• Dodge mines right after jumping.
• Turn direction when you need to avoid something urgently.
